What to Do in Paris for 3 Days

Hey! I am present today to share my personal experience in France. In my last blog, I was shared my overall point of view about France’s history, culture and many other things. Consistency of that, Today I will explore the light city- Paris.

I was feeling the best excitement of my life within my heart as the train entered Paris. After all those years dreaming about this enchanting city, it was finally coming true. A few years back, one day i was reading an article on “what to do in Paris for 3 days”. There were so many fun facts about Paris nicely described there. From that day I was highly interested in this city and started my plan to execute my interest to visit Paris.

Paris, the City of Lights, is the core of everyone’s heart in France, where there is always a story in every nook and cranny, where every road is a captivating tale, and where every bistro is a scene from a love story. I was determined to experience it all – to tread on the vivacious avenues, and to know exactly why Paris is the apple of so many eyes for ages.

My Plan on – What to Do in Paris for 3 Days

What to Do in Paris for 3 Days

Wondering what should be done in Paris for 3 days, how about losing oneself to the streets— that’s the advice I would give. I recall the time which was best for me simply walking around Le Marais where there were many boutiques, galleries and cafes that were inviting. Here the past can be seen and felt intertwined with the contemporaneous. I came upon a small and rather non-descriptive bakery and had the best croissant of my life— golden and just out of the oven. There was fresh bread and the captivating warmth of a true Parisian engulfed me for some time.

Paris is a city that one discovers better at ease. I wonder so many fun facts about Paris. However, having only three days in front of me, I understood I had to use every second to its maximum.

I began my trip by imagining the landmark that is best recognized—the Eiffel Tower. This will be include in my first Paris history tour. It is unique to look up this structure and sense the source of the shadow over oneself. The weather was fair, and unlike the Paris of which I have only pictures, sights on the way up the second floor went well beyond this.

One could then comfortably walk beside River Seine hoping from one beautiful bridge to the other and then to the many small bookshops at the riversides. The best thing about Paris is that it is a walking city, and I quickly appreciated why—there was always something new in each turn. By the time I reached Notre-Dame, I was already appreciating the cute cobbled pavements, beautiful buildings, and all the history around me.

A Short Overview of the Deep Culture and History of Paris

Paris is not only what the present offers, but also relishes and lives its history. On the second day, I got turned on by a Paris history tour that made me realize how much the past is enveloped in the modernistic structures of the everyday life here. While gazing at the beautiful Notre Dame cathedral, I was mystified and amazed by all the historical events that have happened inside the stunning building. This monument has withstood wars, revolutions and fires, and made me regard it as more than just some tourist spot – it is an icon of endurance.

My goals then turned to the Louvre. Wanting to dash to the Mona Lisa almost made me forget the real size of the museum. As I traversed the rooms filled with great artworks from centuries past, it occurred to me how historical and art tell the same story, at least in Paris. I pictured the royal courts fighting over the political affairs of the empire I am now walking through and looking up the same celling. Such a place is one that makes time cease to exist.

Cultural Engagement and Satisfying Experiences

One thing that most captivated I during the time I spent in Paris was not only the imposing structures but especially the people. If you are searching for “What to do in Paris for 3 days”, then take a serious look in this point.

Beneath the hard shell of Parisians lies a certain characteristic fondness of the people. On the third day of my stay, I stepped into a lovely little café close to Montmartre, which has been popularly known for its artistic history and a bohemian style. I ordered a café au lait and took a seat, while the young lady who turned out to be the owner of the café, an old lady with a twinkle in her eye, gave me an insight of her life in Paris. This was one of those instances where I felt assimilated into the culture of the town but not superficially.

The charm of Montmartre on the other hand was quite something. Narrow roadways, people painting and making sketches on the road, the view atop the basilica of Sacre Coeur; this was the Paris that had always lived in my head. The experience was rather closer and I was wishing for more time to explore further more of the beautiful area without the hidden corners.

Where to Stay in Paris: Tips for First-Time Visitors

Most of the tourists worried about the best places to stay in Paris first time. Lots of reason work behind it. As Paris is world’s one of the richest cities. So, most of the hotels are so much expensive. But there are some places to visit in Paris in 3 days for tourist than most of people don’t know. Let me share.

Whether belonging to France for the first time or not is always charged with the questions on where the best place to stay when visiting Paris for the first time is. Luckily, I managed to narrow down my selection and settle for a hotel in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area which is actually ideal for beginners like me. Its’s in walking distance of popular sights such as the Louvre, the Seine, and stylish cafes.

The hotel that I stayed at was a nice boutique hotel and even came with pretty balconies that created a view of the streets below, exactly the way I had found the stay in Paris to be.

For the budget travellers, there are also a number of such zones in the Latin Quarter, which is a busy student area with inexpensive restaurants. To enjoy Paris you do not have to go bankrupt as there are many good hotels and hostels that are affordable yet pleasant.

What and where to eat in Paris: Best Places to Eat in Paris France

I can actually dedicate a full blog post just on the Cuisines in Paris. From fine Michelin-star restaurants and ordinary bistros in the neighbourhoods to the top restaurants in Paris France, you will find them everywhere. Actually there are some many best places to eat in Paris France.

A place in Saint-Germain, “Le Comptoir du Relais,” was quite enjoyable and stood out due to the garlicky duck confit, which melted in the mouth, alongside a simple glass of white. Each mouthful was a delightful symphony that had tastes of wonderful complexity, umami and some sweetness as well.

Do not forget street food too. Once I decided to have a crêpe and went to a stand beside the Tuileries Garden and the crêpe was good nice and thin, slightly crisp with Nutella dripping from the sides. Undeniably simple, but not likely to be forgotten.

A Few Useful Hints for Traveling In Paris

In case you’re making plans to visit the city of Paris, it would make you happy to know that a lot of walking will be done around the city.

But if your legs start to ache, the metro is fast and simple to use. I discovered that purchasing a carnet of tickets (a block of 10) was the cheapest way to get around the city.

For travellers on a shoestring, there are plenty of high and low sights and activities that don’t require spending a single dollar. Take a relaxed walk through the Tuileries Garden and visit the artists that gather at Place du Tertre in Montmartre or simply lie by the banks of River Seine and see some passing boats. Paris is not only beautiful; it is beautiful at any price range.

Best Time to visit Paris: Making the Maximum Out of Every Season.

There is always something good about a city in every season, however, I have to be rigid and say that it was in the spring season that I would recommend a visit. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom in the city and there were pops of pink colors on every street corner. It was not too hot or too cold, which is ideal for walking around. Although summer does have a charm of its own, with its long days and busy restaurants and eateries on every street.

On the other hand, for those who do not wish to be in the middle of the large crowd of tourists, I would advise visiting in the autumn season. It is still warm and there are still nice sunny days, but there are not masses of tourists like in the summer and it is a lot quieter which allows you to enjoy a lot more.

Why Every Person Should Go To Paris Once In Their Lifetime

Sitting in a little café on my last evening and watching the sunset over the beautiful city made me understand that Paris is not just a place where you come. It is a place which you experience. The layers of history, the richness of culture, the openness of humanity-it all comes together in a state of perfection.

Moreover, if you are wondering what to do in Paris for 3 days, my whole blog is especially dedicated to you. Standing in front of the Eiffel Tower, enjoying a fresh French croissant at the deck of a roadside café, or merely walking about-it does not matter; Paris will steal your heart. Just as it did to me. Trust me as a local guide and start your plan.
