My Experiences

I think it’s safe to say that I felt like I belonged right at the get-go after I set foot inside Cycle Paris. It was quite the hive of activity with other voyagers chatting away concerning biking plans. The prospect of picking a modern city bike was so exhilarating that I think I was simply swept away. They patiently discussed the best routes and mentioned little cafes along the way. It was like having a local friend show me around!

There are no words to describe riding a bike in Paris. With every rotation of the pedals, and as the Eiffel Tower came closer, it was as if a weight was being lifted. My hair was free and wild, the sun shining down gave everything a warm glow, and the buzz of the city was all around me. There were people on both sides of the street, and they waved at me as I waved back – this was a joyous occasion!

After that I made my way to Bicycle Rental CDG as this was most suitable. I had just had a long flight. I did not want to waste even a single second. They were quite quick, and in a matter of minutes, I was ready to see Paris. I had fun riding the bike, it was well suited for getting about without actually getting lost in the city.

In the city of Paris Bike Tour, I took part in group excursions with other tourists as we went cycled around the cities with the city’s history where the guide happened to be a cycling fanatic. We just could not stop chatting and laughing while riding through the busy streets and that became one of the great memories for me. I appreciated how the tour leader highlighted places and things that I would not have noticed in the first place.

Velib’ was another spontaneous endeavor. Using the bike-sharing system was not on my agenda, but it was ridiculously simple! I picked one bike available at a station and began to move around. The cheap nature of the service made this system even more attractive, and I went from station to station in search of interesting streets and shops.

Last but not the least, I had a great time at Cyclette. I received a lot of assistance from the personnel and as I was looking through their quality models of bicycles, I also bought some for myself. I bought some cycling things to complement my experience. It was hard not to be excited about cycling because everyone there was and I walked out ready to ride somewhere else.

I can’t resist the temptation to express my appreciation for the diverse experiences I had while riding a bicycle, especially the bicycle shops located close to Airport Charles de Gaulle, Paris. Riding a bicycle around Paris helped in experiencing the city differently while meeting with both locals and travelers.

In case you are working on your next trip itinerary, consider booking bicycles once you land at Charles de Gaulle Airport. There is nothing better than cycling across the beautiful city of Paris, where hidden places wait to be discovered, and the cold breeze on your face is an experience all together. Don’t forget to visit the other stores I have discussed earlier, they are going to make your stay even better!

Alright, what do you have in your bag? Get your gear, cycle on the streets of Paris and when you do so, allow the city to do its wonders. Ride on!
