How many types of curiosity people develop about a place or country. Mainly focusing on a country’s rich history, tradition or culture, the interest to know about that country increases.

France is one of the best and most powerful countries on the continent of Europe. People from all continents of the world are familiar with the country. France is one of the best countries I have visited. There are so many books on France history and everybody wants to know about this historical country. In my first blog, I will mainly focus on the brief overview of French history.

When I first set foot on French soil, I felt a sense of royalty. I was thinking at that moment how strong a country is in its history, tradition, modernity. Perhaps this is why France is called the country of the strongest superpower in Europe and the best tourist destination.

When I was first stepping into France, the modern marvellous points and historical gems proved to me that I was going to explore one of the best tours in my life. Actually the whole country is like a book, a mixer of old and modern historical significance. The history, culture of the city is divided into many layers which will make you feel every corner of the whole country

My First Impressions: Walking Through French History

As soon as I arrived, I realised that it was going to be my best tour ever. there are so many reasons behind it. At first, the fresh environment with fresh air that hooked me. Then I started my journey in a small, picturesque town which was one of the French countryside and all the roads are full of historic views and the most mind refreshing moment that the sun was just beginning to set. A golden glow was spread over the old stone buildings and quiet streets. Everything was just like my dream and I was really so happy to stand in that moment.

One of the first things that surprised me was the perfect mixer of old Roman and today’s new western culture. You know that in France, they had grown up with a royal traditional history from the very past. But the most unique changes had come over just within a few decades.

When I was walking through a bustling modern square and there suddenly I felt like I was in the past centuries. I cannot explain those feelings in any word. I think all of the tour experience is a matter of enjoying every moment that’s all.

The most important thing I noticed is that It’s a place where history isn’t just preserved in the Museum. they used their history in their living, breathing part of daily life. That’s why, tourists always enjoy every place in France with their depth of mind.

Embracing French Culture: A Warm Welcome from the Locals

In my personality, I have always loved travelling and meeting with new people. Because both of these options are a way of gathering knowledge. France Didn’t disappoint in this regard. One memory that I want to share in my tour.

I was walking into a small boutique that specialized in handcrafted goods made by local artisans. The shopkeeper, an old woman, welcomed me in that way like i was known to her for a long time. I was really surprised by her hospitality. I will never forget this memory. Really this was the actual meaning of the tour.

When She was talking with me, I noticed that she treated me like her boy. She was very happy to share her village life stories. Then how the town had changed over the years. She offered me a glass of special drink which was really amazing. These types of moments you can feel the connection between you and the visiting place. That’s not like only a visitor, but as someone who has been welcomed into its fold.

A Taste of France: Culinary Delights I Can’t Forget

Now, the most important sector, without that I think the whole travel experience is nothing, the food of France. Everybody knows that France is one of the best homes of cuisine. French cuisine is celebrated around the world.

Every meal that I had in France was more than my expectations. Actually before my plan to France, I had a lot of plans for food in France. When I really came to France, my entire plan had vanished and I tried all of them which looked delicious to me.

Let’s  share a memory about food. One evening,  I went to a small bistro, seated by the window overlooking a charming square. Then after an overlook to the menu card, I ordered the chef’s recommendation: a heavy  coq au vin, slow cooked in red wine and served with buttery mashed potatoes. Believe me,  It was as delicious as my mother’s recipe. I really enjoyed it and I will never forget that day of my life.

Practical Tips for Future Travelers: Budget-Friendly France

Now, an important discussion about the budget issues. Mainly this discussion for them who are planning their own French adventure, you might be wondering – how affordable is it to visit France? Well, you may know France is one of the richest Countries in the world.

So, many cities like Paris can be a bit pricey, but there are plenty of ways to reduce your budget and surely an extraordinary tour to France. After my travel period, I research about the tourist budget. In this research,  I see that except for Paris and Marseille, other cities are budget friendly. So, don’t worry about your budget.

In travelling,  transport always plays an important role. In France,  Public transport is also budget friendly and navigable. On my tour, I relied on trains to hop between towns. This is not only cost-effective but also you can enjoy the roadside which is also a part of adventure. But if you plan to explore more rural areas, renting a car might be necessary. Bus and trains are not available in that case.

When to Visit: Timing Your French Getaway

France is a travel oriented country and it is also a beautiful year-round one. But every place has its best time to visit. If I have to choose, I think early autumn was ideal. Because you know, In that period of time, nature becomes quieter and more beautiful than other times. The weather was perfect – not too hot, but warm enough to enjoy long walks outdoors.

Then an issue about the festival mood and crowd. So, in summer, there can be seen many crowds and festival moods are on the face of everyone. Winter has the same behaviour as the Christmas days going on at that time. The market places are highly decorated at  that period. So, I think the best time to visit this country is totally based on person to person.

Why France is a Must-Visit Destination

In the end,  Rich history, welcoming culture and undeniable beauty makes France such a special destination. All sectors mixed in combination make it happen to build up a travel oriented most powerful country.
